A glimpse of Atlantis Resort on the Palm Jumeirah.
During the 36 hours I’ve been without Wi-Fi connection, I almost used up Poul’s entire monthly mobile data quota, so he was happy to see the internet guy show up this morning.
In the afternoon, Poul went to work out in the building’s gym, but since my trainers are still in the self- storage unit, I went to swim in the pool instead. In fact, all my shoes are in the self-storage, and I have a shrewd suspicion that Poul is seeing this as the ultimate opportunity to finally get rid of some of them, so I’m looking forward to see how many shoes that will return from the storage.
A dinner cruise/karaoke boat.
We bought the apartment fully furnished so before we can really feel at home, some minor adjustments have to be made. In the kitchen there’s this big, longhaired blanket, which I think has fleas and in the living room there are a dozen of wave-shaped mirrors, which might have been da sh*t in the 90’s, but which I can’t wait to see leave the apartment. The color scheme is also not exactly in our taste, but that’s something we can fix along the way.
